Quick answer: JATCO CVT parts are ordered by the JATCO family code — JF011E, JF015E, JF016E, JF017E, JF018E, JF020E — not by car model. The same unit also carries a Nissan RE0F code and sometimes a Mitsubishi F1C / W1C code. Valve bodies, pulley sets, push belts, solenoid kits, torque converters and sensors are matched to your code and bench-tested before packing.

This page exists for one job: to let a transmission workshop or rebuilder go from "the code on my housing" to "the right part on its way" without a wrong-fit order in between. Below are the six JATCO CVT families we supply, exactly which parts we stock for each, how the JATCO, Nissan and Mitsubishi code systems line up, and how to read a fault code as a parts decision.

What you can do from this page

  • Identify your unit — six JATCO CVT families with their platform name, Nissan RE0F code and Mitsubishi F1C / W1C code.
  • See the family-to-part grid — what we stock today against each family, with a direct link to every item.
  • Decode a fault code into a parts decision — symptom, code, likely cause, and the first part to check.
  • Go deeper on the platform that drives the market — the JF015E / RE0F11A technical cluster.
  • Watch real footage of the parts we ship, filmed in our own workshop.

Before you order

Application years and market calibrations vary, and a vehicle can run more than one CVT version across its model life. Treat the tables on this page as the map, not the destination — the code stamped on your housing is the destination.

02 · Family to Part

What we stock, family by family.

This is the honest inventory map, not a wish list. Every filled cell below is a live link — click through for the specification sheet, applications and buyer FAQ. Where a cell is empty, ask anyway: we source, and we will tell you plainly whether we can supply it and how long it takes.

Reading the grid: "In stock" means the item is in our published 2026 catalogue and can be confirmed in writing immediately. "Ask" means it is not on today's stock list — send the code and we will confirm whether we can source it, on what lead time, rather than guess. Availability of any specific code is always confirmed in writing before an order is accepted.

03 · Code Cross-Reference

JATCO, Nissan and Mitsubishi all name the same box.

One CVT can be described by the transmission maker, the vehicle maker and the parts trade — three systems, three codes, one unit. Here is how they line up, so a listing under one name and a search under another still meet in the same place.

Read this first

A code match is not an interchange list. JF016E and JF017E are both CVT8, and RE0F10D and RE0F10E look one letter apart — they are not substitutes. One family also contains several production revisions with different valve bodies, connectors and calibrations.

That is exactly why we confirm every order against the code on your housing plus a nameplate photograph, and send the part number in writing before anything ships. It costs you one photo and removes the single most expensive failure in this trade: a correct-looking part that does not fit.

04 · Fault Code to Parts Decision

From what the car does, to what to order.

Fault codes on a JATCO CVT are a map of the hydraulic and mechanical chain, not a diagnosis on their own. This is the triage sequence our own bench uses — the complaint, the codes it usually comes with, and the first part worth checking on that path.

What the workshop seesCodes it usually comes withWhat it points toFirst part to check
Shudder or judder pulling away, "shaking" at low speed P0746 · P17F0 · P17F1 Lock-up clutch and pressure control — the classic CVT7 complaint JF015E valve body
No movement, falls out of gear at idle, worse when hot P0841 · P0965 · P0868 Line pressure loss — pressure regulation or pump flow control Valve body / solenoid kit
Limp mode, ratio stuck, harsh engagement P0776 · P0846 Secondary pressure solenoid behaviour Solenoid kit
Drone or whine that rises with road speed P0730 or no code at all Belt and pulley cone faces Pulley set + push belt
Ratio error or speedometer faults after a rebuild P0715 · P0720 Primary or secondary speed sensor Speed sensor
Metal in the pan, slip under load, judder that returns after a hydraulic repair P0730 plus debris Belt and pulley already scored — hydraulics alone will not fix it Pulley and belt with the valve body, or a complete assembly

How to use this: the sequence above follows the diagnostic order in our valve body diagnosis guide and the JF015E reference sheet. Codes vary by model year, market calibration and control unit, and the final diagnosis belongs to the workshop in front of the car. What we add is the parts half of the decision — which component on that path is worth opening first.

How an Order Is Confirmed

Three checks before anything leaves our floor.

Fitment failures in the CVT parts trade are almost never a quality problem — they are a version problem. These are the three confirmations that stand between your order and a wrong-fit return.

Buyer FAQ

JATCO CVT parts — the questions we answer daily.

What transmission is RE0F11A?

RE0F11A is Nissan's service code for the JATCO JF015E, the CVT7 family — a steel push-belt CVT with a two-speed auxiliary gearbox, used in small front-wheel-drive cars such as the Nissan Versa, Versa Note, Sentra B17, Tiida, Note and NV200.

Are RE0F10A and JF011E the same transmission?

At family level yes — JF011E is the JATCO code and RE0F10A is the Nissan service code for the same CVT2 architecture, also sold as Mitsubishi F1CJA (2WD) and W1CJA (AWD). That does not make every complete unit interchangeable: final drive, drivetrain and calibration differ by application, which is why we confirm every order against the code on the housing.

Can I order JATCO CVT parts by car model instead of by code?

You can send either, but the code is what we confirm against. One car model can run more than one CVT version across model years and markets, so the code stamped on the transmission housing plus a nameplate photo is what removes the wrong-fit risk. Send both and we will tell you which part number suits your unit.

Is a JATCO family code enough to order a valve body?

No. Within one family the valve body varies by solenoid count and cap type, and by US versus international variant. On CVT7, for example, the six-solenoid unit used by RE0F11B / RE0F12A / JF020E will not fit a JF015E. We check those details before quoting.

Do you supply complete JATCO CVT assemblies as well as parts?

Yes. Complete assemblies are available for JF011E, JF015E, JF017E and JF020E, alongside valve bodies, pulley sets, push belts, solenoid kits, torque converters and sensors for the other families in the same range.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ is one piece. Consolidating several codes into one shipment is welcome and reduces freight per unit — tell us the full list you need and we will confirm stock and lead time in writing.

Are JATCO CVT parts tested before shipping?

Every valve body runs a pressure-test bench cycle with recorded line pressures before packing, and every complete assembly runs a loaded dyno test. Pulley sets and belts are dimension-checked, not just visually inspected. Test data is kept for internal traceability.

Which CVT fluid should I use?

Fluid specification differs by family and model year — JATCO CVT7 (JF015E) takes Nissan NS-3, and substituting generic ATF changes friction and pressure behaviour. We confirm the correct fluid for your specific unit with the order.
