After disassembly, every critical component is inspected: planetary gears, shafts, bearings, valve bodies, solenoids and clutch assemblies. The question is never whether a part can be made to fit — it is whether it still meets tolerance.
Worn, deformed, fatigued or out-of-tolerance parts are fully scrapped. Hidden defects — micro cracks, scoring, warping and pressure deviation — are eliminated before reassembly rather than discovered after a failure in the field.
A reman unit's lifespan is set by what gets scrapped, not by what gets reused. Eliminating borderline parts at stage 2 is what keeps the failure chain from restarting inside your rebuild.
